Die Briten begründeten ihre Entscheidung folgendermaßen:
"In order to give their fans the full Maiden experience the band cannot accept a noise level restriction. Because the MSV Arena is located in a residential area, the air pollution caused by leisure events has to be reduced to an unacceptable level. Therefore the promoter has decided to move to Düsseldorf. By moving indoors the fans will now have the advantage of seeing not only the entire Iron Maiden production but also the full light shows of all supports - In Flames, Papa Roach, Mastodon and Lauren Harris - that are not affected by daylight any more." Der Ludwighafen-Gig am 8. Juni ist von dieser Veränderung übrigens nicht betroffen. |
